About
As you stroll through the Ferrières regional forest, stop off to admire this pretty windmill. It stopped crushing grain around 1858. It is currently the focus of a renovation project.
Historians, who attest to its existence since 1537, claim that the mill has passed from owner to owner, from Nicolas Fouquet to James de Rothschild. Today, it is owned by the commune, thanks to which it regained its wings and inner mechanism in 1998.
