At the heart of the Parc culturel de Rentilly-Michel Chartier, the château is a major venue for contemporary art exhibitions in the Paris region.

Designed by artist Xavier Veilhan and renovated by the Communauté d'agglomération de Marne et Gondoire from 2011 to 2014 (in collaboration with architects Bona-Lemercier and scenographer Xavier Bertrand), the château is dedicated to exhibiting works from the frac île-de-France collection and guest collections.
